It's here! It's here! It's finally here! The movie 'Inside Out' is out to buy, and just in time for movie night too. To celebrate the release I decided to re-create the infamous broccoli pizza from one of my favorites scenes in the movie.

I do! And I love it too. I mean... what goes better with broccoli than cheese? And what goes better on pizza than cheese? Besides, I will put vegetables in any sneaky place that I can to get my little one to eat more of them!...

Veggies in the Raw Bistro Box

It's been a good while since I worked on my skills at adult lunch boxes or 'bistro boxes' as I've seen them called. I've made a few in the past, and I've always enjoyed them for more than one reason.

I love that these bistro boxes are small, filling, packable, and so easy to whip up a few of them to have on hand through out the week. I've found that if I have to make my lunch every day that I will tend to either skip it all together (which is a bad idea) or trade out my more health conscious lunch for something that's quicker and more grab-and-go (even worse!)

When I have my little prepped bistro boxes though, I don't have any excuse to not sit down and enjoy my wholesome and stackable style meal...

Halloween is almost upon us, and that means that the rest of the major Holidays are going to follow there shortly after! I'm so excited for the upcoming Holiday season, but I've got to say that as usual I'm already planning and stressing out over it all.

We're always busy around here hosting family and going to all the fun holiday events that they have around my great city. It's always so much fun, but a very chaotic time for everyone I think. I can see and feel the change in the seasons rolling through. Finally, there's some relief from the hot summer days as we get cooler weather here in Texas. Whoohoo! I think the high here today is only 88 degrees F. In honor of the cooler weather, I thought it would be nice to make a warm pot of ramen soup.

Peanut butter is my jam. Pun totally intended.

Welcome Fall! You are a breath of fresh air. Oh, how I've missed you!

But, I think anyone here in Texas misses Fall and welcomes it with open arms. By the time the end of September rolls around, I'm always more than ready for the cooler weather and the change of the seasons. I'm done with these 90+ degree days, dang it.

To further welcome in the fall equinox, I decided I wanted to do something fun with butternut squash. I know when I think of fall foods, squashes and gourds are often the first things that come to mind.

I had gotten a mixed bag of 'super greens' in my local box a few weeks ago that I sautéed up and placed in the freezer - sort of in the same manner that you get frozen chopped spinach. I knew that it would pair perfectly with what I had in mind for fall!...
