Alright, breakfast lovers, gather ’round! Let’s talk about the bacon egg & cheese wrap — but not just any wrap. We’re diving headfirst into the Tortilla Trend, where classic breakfast flavors get a smart, healthy makeover that wakes up your taste buds and your waistline.
Why the Wrap?
Forget the usual greasy breakfast sandwich that leaves you feeling sluggish by mid-morning. The tortilla wrap is the ultimate vessel: soft yet sturdy, handheld convenience meets endless customizability. Plus, when you choose the right tortilla (think whole wheat, low carb, or even a spinach wrap), you’re packing in fiber and nutrients instead of empty calories.
The Bacon Upgrade
I know what you’re thinking — bacon’s a guilty pleasure, not a health hero. But hear me out: quality is king here. Opt for nitrate-free, center-cut turkey bacon or uncured pork bacon; these options sneak in that smoky crunch without too many calories or additives. And don’t go overboard—two slices deliver the perfect savory punch.
Egg-citing Protein Power
Eggs are the MVP of breakfast, delivering protein and essential nutrients in a neat little package. To lighten the load, whip up an egg white scramble or a mix of whole eggs and whites. Add just a touch of cheese (a quarter cup of sharp cheddar or pepper jack does wonders) for flavor without overload.
Cheese, Please! But Smart
Cheese brings that melty goodness which makes this wrap crave-worthy. Go for reduced-fat cheese or experiment with a sprinkle of feta — it’s tangy, lower in fat, and pairs beautifully with smoky bacon and fluffy eggs.
Toss in the Veggies
Here’s where things get really fun. Pile on some sautéed spinach, diced tomatoes, or even bell peppers. Not only does this boost your vitamin intake, it adds a sneaky freshness and texture that’ll have you forgetting this is still a breakfast wrap, not a salad.
Why This Wrap Works
Balanced nutrition: Protein from eggs & bacon, fiber and micronutrients from the tortilla and veggies.
Portability: No fork, no fuss — just grab and go.
Customizable: Vegan? Swap bacon for tempeh bacon and eggs for tofu scramble. Cheese-free? Nutritional yeast is your BFF.
Guilt-free indulgence: All the flavor you want, none of the bloat or crash.
The Skinny Fork Twist
If you’re feeling adventurous, try a dash of hot sauce or sprinkle smoked paprika for an extra zing. For the creamy factor with less fat, swap cheese for mashed avocado — it’s like a little green hug in your wrap.
So, there you have it. The Bacon Egg & Cheese Tortilla Trend isn’t just a breakfast hero; it’s a way to have your brunch and keep your health goals intact. Whether you’re sprinting to work, chasing kids, or just craving a morning treat that doesn’t ruin your day, wrap yourself in this guilt-free goodness.
Go on, wrap it, roll it, love it. Your breakfast revolution starts here!

Ingredients
- 1 Large 'Xtreme Wellness' Low Carb Wrap (Flavor of choice. I used original.)
- 1 Whole Large Egg
- 1 Slice Cooked Center Cut Low Sodium Bacon, Crumbled
- 2 Tbsp. Shredded American Cheese
- 2 Tbsp. Pickled Jalapeños
- 1 C. Chopped Baby Spinach and/or Arugula
- Sprinkle of Everything Jalapeño Seasoning
- Salt & Pepper to Taste
Instructions
- Set out your 1 Large 'Xtreme Wellness' Wrap and cut it from one side in towards the very center. (See photo.)
- Place your 1 Whole Large Egg into a small skillet along with the 1 Slice Cooked & Crumbled Center Cut Low Sodium Bacon, and cook to scramble.
- Transfer the scrambled egg and bacon to 1/4 of the prepared tortilla. Sprinkle the 2 Tbsp. Shredded American Cheese in another 1/4 segment of the tortilla. Follow that with the 2 Tbsp. Pickled Jalapeños and the 1 C. Chopped Baby Spinach and/or Arugula. Sprinkle with some of the Everything Jalapeño Seasoning.
- Set a medium size skillet over a medium-high heat to get it nice and hot.
- Spritz the pan with a little non-stick spray, reduce the heat to medium, and transfer the tortilla to the pan. Allow the cheese to start to get melty before folding the tortilla in over itself to make yourself a triangle wrap. (See photos.)
- Once done, remove from the pan to enjoy right away with some salsa or picante!
