If you're a breakfast lover with a sweet tooth and a love for all things cozy, buckle up. Bananas Foster Blended & Baked Oats is here to revolutionize your morning routine. This isn’t your average boring bowl of oats—it's a quirky, healthy twist on the classic Bananas Foster dessert that will have you craving breakfast all day long.

Why Bananas Foster Oats?

Bananas Foster, traditionally a decadent dessert made with bananas, brown sugar, butter, rum, and cinnamon, screams indulgence. But who says indulgence can’t be healthy? By blending ripe bananas with oats and adding some warm spices, we crush the calorie overload and keep all the creamy, caramelized good vibes intact. Plus, baking the oats gives it a comforting, slightly crispy texture that feels oh-so-satisfying.

The Secret Sauce: Blending Before Baking

Most baked oats recipes call for mixing ingredients and then baking straight away. Our twist? We blend the oats and bananas together first — creating a smooth, luscious batter that bakes into a soft, cake-like consistency. The result is uniquely fluffy and creamy, marrying the best of both baked and smoothie worlds.

Why This Recipe Rocks

  • Naturally sweetened: Thanks to bananas and a smidge of maple syrup, there’s no need for refined sugars.

  • Fiber-packed & filling: Oats + bananas = a fiber party that keeps you full and satisfied.

  • Low fuss, high flavor: Blend it, bake it, and boom—breakfast done.

  • Customizable: Swap milk, swap nuts, add chocolate chips or a sprinkle of nutmeg for your own twist.

  • Guilt-free satisfaction: All the healthy goodness with zero guilt.

Final Thought

Bananas Foster Blended & Baked Oats brings dessert-level excitement to morning oats with a tweak so simple you’ll wonder why it isn’t everywhere. It’s a little quirky, a lot healthy, and totally delicious. So go ahead, indulge your breakfast cravings without any cheat-day panic.

This isn’t your average boring bowl of oats—it's a quirky, healthy twist on the classic Bananas Foster dessert that will have you craving breakfast all day long.

Ingredients

  • 1 C. Dry Uncooked Quick Oats
  • 1 Tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1 Banana
  • 1/2 C. Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
  • 2 Tbsp. Natural Sweetener
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla
  • 1/8 Tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 C. Sweet Liquor (I used Liquor 43)
  • 1 Banana, Sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. and lightly coat the inside of two ramekin dishes with non-stick baking spray.
  2. Place the 1 C. Dry Uncooked Quick Oats, 1 Tsp. Baking Soda, 1 Banana, 1/2 C. Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk, 2 Tbsp. Natural Sweetener, 1 Tsp. Vanilla, and 1/8 Tsp. Salt into a blender or cup of an immersion blender. Puree down until mostly smooth.
  3. Divide half of the oat mixture evenly among the ramekins; setting aside the rest for later.
  4. Heat a small skillet over medium-high heat. Once warm, give a light coat of non-stick cooking spray.
  5. Add the 1/4 C. Sweet Liquor, 1 Banana, and 1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar to the skillet and allow to cook for a minute or two before turning over and cooking for another minute or two.
  6. Once the bananas are slightly softened turn the heat off and divide the bananas evenly between the ramekins, adding in a little of the warmed liquor too.
  7. Top the warm bananas with the remaining oat mixture divided evenly.
  8. Place in the oven to bake for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Once done, remove from the oven to enjoy right away or cover and store in the fridge for breakfast meal prep!
