Cookies are in season right now, and these Skinny Hot Cocoa Cookies are where it’s at! Their a cocoa flavored chocolate cookie base that’s loaded up with plenty of white chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate, and YES even marshmallows. It’s basically like eating a mug of hot cocoa… if you eat them warm and fresh out of the oven especially!

Even with the naughty bits that are in here, these cookies are sill just over 100 calories each. And what’s better, is that they are actually pretty easy to make! Sometimes cookies can be overly complicated and involved. Not these baddies…

I don't know about you, but I'm still settling into the school day routine all over again. It's hit me hard this year. I guess because my little girl was eagerly sleeping in pretty decently in the summer and now all the sudden it's a 6 am wakeup call to drag her out of bed. She isn't like me. She isn't a morning person.

It's easy (even for me) in the midst of chaotic mornings to not eat as well as I should, or even *GASP* eat nothing at all. Recently I got my hands on these Sejoyia Coco-Roons and I gotta say, they are perfectly portable, popable, mom-friendly, guilt-free snacks. But, I decided to take them a step further from snacking today to include them in this Cocoa Banana Cherry Power Bowl!...

My daughter and I were singing Rudolph all morning long! While eating breakfast, while driving to school. I'm a little scared and also excited that come Friday, I'll have her home for two and a half weeks of winter break! Now... ask me at the end of the two and a half weeks to see if I still feel the same about that.

The holidays are always a fun time, especially when you've got little ones running around with all of their excitement. There is something to be said about homemade gifts, and I've always said that. They mean the most to me and always have. I would much rather have something that I know someone spent the time, effort, and thought into... than anything else! To know that you were in someone's special thoughts is a gift in itself...

Skinny Frozen 'Hot Chocolate'

The heat of the summer is definitely upon us! Whenever it's humanly possible, I'm steering clear of using my oven and stove at all right now. I've been focusing on staying cool with little or no cook meals, or things that can be grilled outside. Even so, I'm dreaming of the cooler months to come. The summer heat here in Texas can be brutal.

So, what's the first thing that comes to mind when you think of winter, snow, and the Holidays? ... Hot chocolate, of course! Trust me, I'll be all over hot chocolate when the time comes, but for now - it's all about this Skinny Frozen 'Hot Chocolate'! Basically, this is a frozen take on a classic hot chocolate, so it's perfectly enjoyable during the summer while you're waiting for the cooler months...
