Turkey Bacon Pesto 'Tortilla Trend' Breakfast Wrap

This morning I decided to take the tortilla wrap trend to the next level with this pesto-goodness loaded breakfast wrap! This tortilla trend has just about a little of everything. Fresh veggies, pesto, cheese, bacon, and of course egg!

It’s delicious and takes just a few minutes to toss together. Plus, being as it’s a tortilla trend, it’s completely portable and makes for the BEST grab-and-go breakfast you can get your hands on. And with just a few simple swaps, this breakfast is completely guilt-free.

I lightened this Turkey Bacon Pesto 'Tortilla Trend' Breakfast Wrap up by using egg whites, plenty of fresh veg, and a carb balance 60 calorie tortilla. All in all, it just doesn’t get much better than this for a quick and easy breakfast bite.

If you wanted to make this more of a ‘lunch’ wrap, you could always swap in hard-boiled egg for the scrambled egg white or if you wanted to lighten it up more, just use some low sodium center cut bacon instead.

Turkey Bacon Pesto 'Tortilla Trend' Breakfast Wrap

A pesto twisted breakfast take on that new tortilla trend! Turkey, bacon, pesto, cheese, veggies, and egg make for one perfect delicious breakfast bite!

Ingredients

  • 1 Carb Balance Spinach & Herb Tortilla
  • 1 Oz. Deli Sliced Turkey
  • 1/2  Slice Provolone Cheese
  • 1/2 C. Fresh Baby Spinach
  • 1 Egg White, Cooked
  • 1 Tbsp. Crumbled & Cooked Bacon
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Pesto

Instructions

  1. Lay the tortilla flat and make a cut down half of it from the center.
  2. Place the 1 Oz. turkey and 1/2 slice of provolone cheese on one quarter of the tortilla.
  3. Put the 1/2 C. baby spinach on another quarter of the tortilla.
  4. Place the cooked egg white on a third quarter of the tortilla.
  5. And finally the 1 Tbsp. bacon crumbles and 1/2 Tbsp. pesto on the final quarter.
  6. Fold the tortilla up in fourths over on itself to make yourself a perfectly packed wrap.
  7. Enjoy right away!
