Crispy Baked Chicken Taquitos

I love taquitos. You know the ones. The ones in the freezer section that you bake at home and end up with a plate of several perfectly rolled crisp taquitos loaded with beef, chicken, or beans and cheese. My problem though has always been that they were almost impossible for me to get right at home. That is until now.

Pasta is one of my favorite things. So is cheese. So, of course I love myself a good Lasagna Fritta. What’s a Lasagna Fritta, you ask? It’s an Olive Garden appetizer dish that I adore. Vegetarian Sushi

So… I don’t like sea food. That is why you will never see any sea food recipes around here. No, I’m not allergic to it, I just don’t like it. It’s not a taste thing or a texture thing. It is flat out just that I don’t like sea food. BUT. I do like sushi. I love vegetarian sushi.

Pull-Apart Pizza Bread (Bread Machine)

I was able to get my hands on some more yeast, and being as we’re still being careful with the ‘when and how often’ we’re leaving the house… I’m getting a lot of use out of my bread machine. In this house, we have a few things that are in the general rotation for dinners. On Tuesdays we eat tacos. On Saturday I like to make vegetarian sushi. And on Fridays? We like to eat pizza!

To keep things a little different, I thought I would use my idea from a few weeks ago for pull-apart bread, but turn it into pizza bread! So instead of butter and garlic, I loaded the layers of bread up with plenty of sauce, cheese, and our favorite pizza toppings…

This is an old one, but a good one. This Blender Salsa is tried and true and was one of the very first recipes that I ever posted here way back in 2013!
