Whole Wheat Bread Machine Breadsticks

Back when I first got my original bread machine, one of my favorite things to make with it was homemade breadsticks. They always turned out pretty damn great. Light, fluffy, and delicious. Way better than the pre-made dough you can get at the store in a can. Then again, almost anything homemade is better than pre-packaged.

So obviously, I’m not an Italian lady. My roots are a lot Irish and … well, as many others out there, a plethora of other things. That being said, my love of food stems very much so from my fond memories of sitting on my great-grandma’s kitchen counter and watching her cook for hours on end.

Lengthy cooking times tend to be a thing of the past these days, especially with our fancy gadgets like crock pots and pressure cookers. Trust me, I’m a HUGE fan of the quick and easy recipes, but I’m here to warn you that THIS recipe is not quick by any means. Thanksgiving is in just a few days and when the Holidays are rolling in, I like to be sure that I have breakfast taken care of. Strata is a great way to use up what you have on hand. Roasted Red Bell Pepper & Tomato Soup

During the colder end of Fall and on into Winter months, I like to stick to comfort food classics. And there isn’t much that’s more of a comfort food or a classic than a nice warm bowl of homemade tomato soup. I’ve made a lot of tomato soup in my past, and for this Roasted Red Bell Pepper & Tomato Soup I used one of my favorite recipes and changed it up just a bit.
