This isn’t your grandma’s southern breakfast, but it’s still packed with all the cozy, creamy, savory vibes you crave, just made a little lighter and a whole lot healthier.

Ingredients

Gravy
  • 1/2 Lb. Turkey Breakfast Sausage
  • 5 Tbsp. Butter
  • 7 Tbsp. Flour
  • 2 C. Reduced Fat Milk
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste
Magic Pop
  • 8 Cheddar Kim's Magic Pop Shells
  • 1/2 C. Shredded Cheddar
  • 4 Whole Large Eggs, Cooked to Liking

Instructions

  1. Cook the 1/2 Lb. Turkey Breakfast Sausage in a skillet over medium heat until cooked through and browned.
  2. Add in 5 Tbsp. of butter along with the sausage to melt.
  3. Add in the 7 Tbsp. flour and stir to cook for a minute or two to make your roux.
  4. Whisk in the 1/2 Tsp. seasoning and slowly add in the 2 C. milk.
  5. Bring it all barely to a bubble, whisking constantly.
  6. Once the gravy starts to bubble, it should be getting nice and thick!
  7. Turn the heat off and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Layer 2 Cheddar Magic Pop Shells on each plate.
  9. Divide the gravy evenly among the shells.
  10. Top each with 2 Tbsp. of the shredded cheddar and one of the cooked egg.
  11. Serve right away to enjoy!
