I topped mine off with some cooked bacon and a chili garlic crunch for an added kick of spice! This would also be great with salsa, sriracha, or really anything that you might top and egg off with.

Crispy, golden tater tots that are perfectly crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, smothered in a rich and creamy gravy that's guilt-free yet indulgent.

Ingredients

  • 14 Oz. Frozen Tater Tots
  • 1/4 Lb. Turkey Ground Breakfast Sausage
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1/4 Tsp. Hot Sh!t Seasoning
  • 1 1/2 C. Fat Free Milk
  • 4 Whole Large Eggs
  • 1/2 C. Shredded Reduced Fat Cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the 14 Oz. Frozen Tater Tots according to package directions.
  2. While the tots are cooking, brown the 1/4 Lb. Turkey Ground Breakfast Sausage in a medium pot over medium-high heat until cooked through.
  3. When the sausage is cooked, add in the 2 1/2 Tbsp. Butter to melt.
  4. Whisk in the 3 1/2 Tbsp. Flour and 1/4 Tsp. Hot Sh!t Seasoning, allow to cook for a minute.
  5. Slowly whisk in the 1 1/2 C. Fat Free Milk and bring it all to a simmer. Allow the mixture to cook for 3-5 minutes or until thickened.
  6. Once done, remove from the heat and cook your eggs to your liking.
  7. When the tots are done, divide them evenly among plates and top each with about 1/2 C. of the gravy, 2 Tbsp. of the Shredded Reduced Fat Cheese, an egg, and any other toppings you might desire.
  8. Enjoy right away!
