Turkey Wrapped BLT

If you're looking for a low-carb and gluten-free lunch option, then you're in for a treat with this turkey wrapped BLT. Instead of using bread, use turkey slices as a wrap for the bacon, lettuce, and tomato filling.

This twist on the classic BLT is not only healthier, but it's also just as satisfying. The savory and salty flavor of turkey pairs perfectly well with the crisp lettuce and juicy tomato, while the smoky bacon adds a rich flavor to the mix. This meal is easy to prepare and make-ahead, which makes it convenient for those who are busy but still want something delicious and nutritious for lunch.

Simply wrap the turkey slices around the lettuce, tomato, and bacon before rolling it all up. Serve with a side of fresh fruit, veggies, or chips for a complete and nutritious lunch. This dish is perfect for busy weekdays or as a light and refreshing option for an outdoor picnic on a sunny day.

If you do make these ahead, I’d say only do so up to three days ahead and be sure to put them in sandwich bags or plastic wrap to keep the moisture in while being stored in the fridge until ready to enjoy.

Low carb and keto friendly BLT that comes together in minutes and is perfect for a part of a make ahead lunch or meal prep option!

Ingredients

  • 4 Slices Deli Turkey
  • 2 Large Lettuce Leaves
  • 4 Slices Tomato (About 1/4 Roma Tomato)
  • 2 Slices Cooked Bacon
  • 1 Tsp. Light Mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Lay out two slices of turkey to be overlapping, repeat for the other two slices.
  2. Set a large lettuce leaf off center of the turkey along with a couple slices of tomato, a sliced of cooked bacon, and 1/2 Tsp. of light mayonnaise.
  3. Roll it up together carefully.
  4. Enjoy right away!
