So… I don’t like sea food. That is why you will never see any sea food recipes around here. No, I’m not allergic to it, I just don’t like it. It’s not a taste thing or a texture thing. It is flat out just that I don’t like sea food. BUT. I do like sushi. I love vegetarian sushi.

This is an old one, but a good one. This Blender Salsa is tried and true and was one of the very first recipes that I ever posted here way back in 2013! Chickpea Tikka Masala

Let’s face it, we’re all suddenly a lot more influenced by a ‘beans and rice’ diet. Pantry cooking can be tricky, but it can also save time, money, and still be pretty damn healthy for you. This Chickpea Tikka Masala is a one pot dish that cooks up in just about 30 minutes. It’s gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian. Plus, like I said, one pan to cook it all means less mess to clean up in the end.

We’re only on day two of Austin’s ‘shelter in place’ orders and it already seems like we’ve been stuck inside for a couple of months already. Though, that’s probably because of the self-quarantine that most of us had already been on for the weeks leading up to the shelter in place. Somehow amidst all the chaos my family was able to get our hands on enough pantry staples and frozen foods to last for the duration.
