At the core of this mouthwatering dish lies thinly sliced beef, prepared with some care to ensure tenderness. But what truly sets beef braciole apart is the cheesy stuffing that takes it to another level. A symphony of breadcrumbs, garlic, Parmesan cheese, and aromatic herbs harmoniously blend together to create a savory sensation that will leave you craving more.

Once filled with this delightful stuffing, the beef is rolled up, creating a beautifully presented package of deliciousness. As it braises in a rich tomato sauce, a magical alchemy occurs. Steak rolled up with parmesan and herbs and then cooked in a tomato sauce that's simple and out of this world.

Ingredients

  • 28 Oz. Can of San Marzano Tomatoes
  • 1 Lb. Beef Top Sirloin Roast
  • 1/2 C.Whole Wheat Bread Crumbs
  • 1/2 C. Grated Parmesan
  • 2 Tbsp. Minced Fresh Parsley
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste
  • 1/2 C. White Wine

Instructions

  1. Place the 28 Oz. Can of San Marzano Tomatoes into a blender or use an immersion blender to puree down. Place the tomatoes into a medium pot and season with salt and pepper to taste. Heat over low heat.
  2. While that's warming, cut the 1 Lb. Beef Top Sirloin Roast into six pieces and place them into a large ziplock or between plastic and pound them out until they are about 1/4" thick. Season with salt and pepper and then set aside.
  3. Place the 1/2 C.Whole Wheat Bread Crumbs, 1/2 C. Grated Parmesan, 2 Tbsp. Minced Fresh Parsley, 2 Garlic Cloves, and 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil into a small bowl. Stir together and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Divide the parmesan mixture evenly between the meat then roll them up and either tie with butchers twine or large toothpicks.
  5. Heat a medium pan over medium-high heat and add in 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil.
  6. Place the rolled up meat into the pan and cook for a couple of minutes per side.
  7. Add in the 1/2 C. White Wine and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  8. transfer the heated tomato sauce to the skillet with the meat, cover, and cook on low for about an hour.
  9. Once done, remove the twine or toothpicks and serve right away with your choice of pasta or rice and some veggies!
