Loads of garlic cooked low and slow for hours along with fresh herbs. Keeps in the fridge and is perfect spread on bread or toasts as part of a meal!

Ingredients

  • 6 Heads of Garlic, Peeled
  • 2 C. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Bunch Fresh Herbs (I used a blend of rosemary, sage, and thyme.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F.
  2. Place all the 6 Heads of peeled Garlic, 2 C. Extra Virgin Olive Oil (or enough to cover the garlic), and 1 Bunch Fresh Herbs into an oven safe baking dish.
  3. Transfer the dish to the oven and cook for 2-3 hours or until the oil and garlic are golden brown.
  4. Once done, remove from the oven and allow to come down to room temperature.
  5. Enjoy right away or store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 2-3 weeks.
