A delightful twist on a classic treat, these blondies are soft, chewy, and bursting with rich red velvet flavor. On top of these blondies is a Maple Cream Cheese Sauce that is the perfect combination of sweet and creamy indulgence.

Ingredients

Blondies
  • 1 C. Brown Sugar/Sweetener Blend
  • 1/3 C. Softened Butter
  • 1 Whole Large Egg
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 1 C. Flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Red Food Coloring
  • 1/2 Tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/8 Tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1/8 Tsp. Salt
  • 1/3 C. White Chocolate Chips
  • 1/3 C. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Maple Cream Cheese Sauce
  • 6 Tbsp. Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 C. Butter
  • 8 Oz. Reduced Fat (Neufchatel) Cream Cheese, Room Temp.
  • 6 Tbsp. Brown Sugar/Sweetener Blend

Instructions

Blondies
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. and lightly coat the inside of a 9x9" or 8x8" baking dish with non-stick baking spray; set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, or the base of a stand mixer, beat together the 1 C. brown sugar blend and 1/3 C. butter.
  3. Add in the 1 egg, and 1 tbsp. vanilla.
  4. Stir in the 1 C. flour, 1 tbsp. red food coloring 1/2 Tsp. baking powder, 1/8 Tsp. baking soda, and 1/8 Tsp. salt.
  5. Fold in the 1/3 C. white chocolate chips and 1/3 C. semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  6. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and bake for about 20-25 minutes. DO NOT OVER BAKE.
  7. Once done, remove from the oven and set aside to cool slightly.
Maple Cream Cheese Sauce
  1. While the blondies are cooling, combine the 6 Tbsp. syrup and 1/4 C. butter together in a small sauce pan.
  2. Cook over low heat until the butter is melted.
  3. Add in the 8 Oz. cream cheese and 6 Tbsp. brown sugar blend and continue to cook, stirring constantly, until the cream cheese has melted.
  4. Once done, remove from heat, cut your blondies into 9 squares, and serve right away with a drizzle of the sauce on top.
