Crispy Air Fryer Gnocchi

Have you ever tried making gnocchi in an air fryer? Get ready for a game-changing twist on a classic dish! These little potato dumplings are transformed into crispy perfection with just a hint of oil and a fraction of the calories.

Golden, crunchy on the outside, and perfectly pillowy soft on the inside. It's like biting into a cloud that's been lightly crisped to perfection. Serve these air fryer gnocchi with a homemade cream cheese based dip and this crispy air fryer gnocchi is sure to become your new go-to dish for a quick and satisfying appetizer or meal.

I definitely have plans to make these again with a change up of seasonings and dip. Somehow, even with my very old and temperamental air fryer, these gnocchi still came out perfectly crisped on the outside and soft and chewy still on the inside. They actually inspired me to get a NEW air fryer finally.

Ingredients

Gnocchi
  • 16 Oz. Gnocchi
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 Tsp. Paprika
  • 1 Tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tsp. Crushed Rosemary
  • 1/2 Tsp. Cayenne
  • 1/2 Tsp. Salt
Garlic Lemon Dip
  • 4 Tbsp. Reduced Fat Cream Cheese
  • 1 Garlic Clove, Minced
  • 1/2 Lemon, Juiced
  • Salt to Taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
  2. Place the 16 Oz. Gnocchi, 2 Tbsp. Virgin Olive Oil, 1 Tsp. Paprika, 1 Tsp. Garlic Powder, 1 Tsp. Crushed Rosemary, 1/2 Tsp. Cayenne, and 1/2 Tsp. Salt into a large ziplock together. Seal it up and toss it until the gnocchi are coated evenly.
  3. Pour the gnocchi out into the warmed air fryer and cook for 7 minutes. Give the basket a toss. Then cook for another 7 minutes.
  4. While the gnocchi are cooking, mix together the 4 Tbsp. Reduced Fat Cream Cheese, 1 minced Garlic, the juice of half a lemon, and salt to taste.
  5. Once the gnocchi are done, transfer them to a serving plate along with the dip to enjoy right away!
