Lightened Up Breakfast Crunchwrap

Start your day with a twist! The Lightened Up Breakfast Crunchwrap is a fun and nutritious twist on a classic breakfast favorite. Packed with scrambled eggs, lean protein, and some cheese, all wrapped up in a whole wheat tortilla, this portable breakfast will keep your taste buds happy and your waistline in check.

It's easily customizable, so you can toss in your favorite ingredients or leftovers for a fabulous flavor explosion. Say goodbye to boring breakfasts and hello to a crunchy, tasty start that'll have you ready to conquer the day!

I lightened these up by using low carb keto-friendly tortillas and lean turkey breakfast sausage. The end result is this filling bite of breakfast goodness that’s got plenty of meat and gooey cheese. I like to have things pre-cooked and prepped ahead of time and then put it all together and cook it in the mornings for breakfast.

Lightened Up Breakfast Crunchwrap

Packed with scrambled eggs, lean protein, and some cheese, all wrapped up in a whole wheat tortilla, this portable breakfast will keep your taste buds happy and your waistline in check.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Lb. Turkey Breakfast Sausage
  • 4 Whole Wheat High Fiber Tortillas
  • 1 C. Hash Browns, Cooked
  • 4 Whole Large Eggs, Scrambled
  • 1/2 C. Nacho Cheese Sauce
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste

Instructions

  1. Place the 1/2 Lb. Turkey Breakfast Sausage into a medium skillet and cook over medium-high heat until cooked through and browned.
  2. Salt out the 4 Whole Wheat High Fiber Tortillas.
  3. Divide the cooked Turkey Breakfast Sausage, 1 C. Hash Browns and 4 Whole Large Eggs evenly among the tortillas.
  4. Top each with 2 Tbsp. of the 1/2 C. Nacho Cheese Sauce.
  5. Fold the tortilla in towards the center being sure to cover the fillings entirely.
  6. Heat the medium sized skillet over medium-high heat and give it a light spritz of non-stick cooking spray.
  7. Place the crunchwrap folded side down and cook until browning and crisping.
  8. Carefully flip and continue to cook until that side is browned as well.
  9. Rinse and repeat for remaining crunch wraps.
  10. Enjoy right away with salsa or hot sauce!
